The Hypar is the most distinctive umbrella in the range. Its twisted, hyperbolic membrane is stretched between high and low points to create a saddle shaped canopy that looks striking from every angle, all supported by a single central column. Beyond the visual appeal, the twisted form sheds water and wind well and makes efficient use of a small footprint.
It is well suited to parks, playgrounds, schools, aquatic centres, car parks and any space that wants shade with a bit of architectural character. The Hypar comes in a wide size range in either UV stabilised shade cloth or waterproof PVC, with a webbing reinforced edge on shade cloth versions and marine grade cable and corner fittings on PVC. Like every VertexPro umbrella, each Hypar is custom made and supplied with engineered drawings and footing hardware.
